We provide services for Development Agencies, Corporate Organizations and Philanthropists who are interested in Entrepreneurial projects. Examples of past projects include: Innovation Factory with GIZ, Ghana Oracle Digital Enterprise Programme (GODEP) with Oracle Ghana and the Government of Ghana and SG Home of Business with Société Générale Bank.

No, the Pitch Hub does not directly provide funding for businesses but helps businesses acquire funding from investors. We do this by helping entrepreneurs prepare detailed fundraising documents such as grant proposals, business plans, financial models and pitch decks that can be used to source for funding. We also train entrepreneurs on the Pitching process by organizing mock investor pitches to correct any flaws in an entrepreneur's pitch before meeting with their investors.
Writing a business plan can easily take up to 500 hours or more. To prepare an investor-grade business plan, you need to do extensive research into the industry, prepare financial forecast, and prepare your investor presentation. All of this takes a lot of time which you should probably spend building your team, product, customer base etc. In addition to our expertise in preparing these materials, we serve as a fresh pair of eyes into your business and may raise questions that you might not have thought to ask. With our Pitch training, we ensure that, you point out all the necessary information investors look out for and help build your confidence. We also take you through speech training to improve your persuasiveness as a public speaker.
From our experience, every situation is unique. It also depends on the type of service you require. However here are some common steps we follow:
- Initial discussion to understand your basic needs.
- Review your existing materials (draft business plans, financials, market research, competitor research, etc.). If you do not have existing materials, we provide a questionnaire which you fill out to help us understand your business better.
- Follow-up discussion to clarify details and agree upon the scope and fees for the project.
- Several in-depth discussions to better understand the details, develop strategies, and agree on all major elements of the business plan and financial model.
- Conduct additional research and send you our findings as needed.
- Draft an Investor Presentation and review it with you to ensure that all parties agree on the high-level vision.
- Draft the Executive Summary and review it with you to ensure that we are on the same page.
- Prepare a draft outline of the business plan for your review.
- Incorporate your revenue and expense models into the financial model, and explain how it works so that you can take “ownership” of the financials.
- Finalize all deliverables.
- Coach you on the best way to deliver the investor presentation and on how to address questions.
- Provide ongoing support, including making minor updates to the deliverables at no additional charge.
Depending on how we structure the project and the level of cooperation, you should expect to spend anywhere from 3-5 weeks on the process over the course of a typical engagement.
We gladly do so. We prefer to use a Mutual NDA so that our own trade secrets can be protected as well.
