We’ve all got that business idea: some great, some…well. Some youth, however, have got groundbreaking ideas which could shape a community, grow a sector or turn the economy of a country around but most people encounter a major problem: funding. Be it securing a loan from the bank or borrowing from friends and family to start that business, securing funding is a major hurdle for would-be entrepreneurs. Even more daunting is the task of drawing up business plans and pitching business ideas to potential investors for funding. Most entrepreneurs have little or no idea about pitching ideas to get funding despite the various opportunities for funding out there. The sad truth is, these potentially revolutionary ideas end up stashed up in the minds of those who conceive them without seeing daylight.

Well, for all you aspiring young entrepreneurs out there especially Tech startups in Ghana and businesses from every sector using technology to promote or deliver goods and (or) services to customers, Guzuli Tech Hub and Pitch Hub have partnered to organize their first Pitch-In competition to select the best startups for the Guzuli Tech Incubation Hub.

On March 3rd the event will be held at the British Council in Accra to select the first batch of startups to support. So, start finetuning that idea and how to sell it to secure a spot in this life-changing opportunity.
